Yesterday, while grooming my bunnies, I noticed that my agouti female seems to have dry skin. Is this normal. The other 2 boys do not. Should I add something to her food? Is this normal? Should I be worried?
I got SO much hair from her. It was unreal. Or I think it is alot of hair.
Anybody else hair a bunny with "dry Skin"?

It could be fur mites or dry skin. If it is fur mites you will see flakes of skin behind her neck and maybe scratches from her itching. If it is just dry skin it will be over her back. For fur mites you can use cat flea powder on her. Just about anything you use for CATS is ok for bunnies. They both lick and groom themselves. Do not use things made for DOGS!
For dry skin you can feed her some Rosemary. If you have access to wheatgearm oil you might try some on her feed. Your best bet is rosemary though.

The dry skin is on her back. Fresh rosemary or dried? Just add it to her food (if dried)? Or does it matter, fresh or dried?
Sorry for so many questions. I just want what is best for the bunnies!!!
